Measuring Meaningful Moments

We’re investigating what makes a moment meaningful, and measuring how wonder, creativity and shared discovery can help people feel happier and more connected.

The Good Life Gap

Study Objectives

The Good Life Gap investigates the distance between what people need to feel mentally well, connected and fully alive, and what their daily lives actually provide. We explore which meaningful experiences are missing, how those gaps relate to stress, loneliness and wellbeing, and what stands in the way.

By revealing the experiences, opportunities and supports people need most, the study will give community organizations practical evidence to create programs that bring more connection, meaning and possibility into everyday life.

Field Research in Action

Community Wonder Workshops

Applied Research

The workshop is where our research comes to life. Short surveys before, immediately after and in the weeks that follow help us discover which moments make a difference, who benefits and whether changes in wellbeing, connection and belonging last outside the room.

What we learn goes straight back into the next workshop. We keep the ideas that spark something, rethink the ones that fall flat and adapt the experience for different communities. Over time, these small experiments will build practical evidence for more engaging, accessible and effective community wellbeing programs.
